Saudi-based HealthTech startup Nuxera AI has raised $2.5 million in a pre-seed round led by Sanabil Venture Studio by Redesign Health, marking a major step toward advancing Arabic-first AI innovation in healthcare.

Founded by Amin El Hemaily (CEO), Asad Khan (CTO), and Nada Hassan (CCO), Nuxera AI is building an intelligent ecosystem for hospitals across Saudi Arabia — integrating real-time clinical documentation, hospital-wide analytics, and AI-driven data insights designed natively for Arabic-speaking healthcare providers.

Its flagship solution, SERA, captures doctor–patient conversations across 28 Arabic dialects, automatically generating SNOMED, ACHI, SBS, and ICD-10-coded notes — reducing documentation time by over 70%. Complementing this, Nuxera’s “Talk to Your Data” feature allows clinicians and administrators to query institutional data in plain Arabic, surfacing immediate answers to clinical, operational, and financial questions.

“This investment is not just validation of our technology; Saudi innovation is now setting global trends,” said Amin El Hemaily, CEO of Nuxera. “We built Nuxera to embed within hospital workflows — understanding Arabic dialects, meeting payer coding requirements, and surfacing insights the way leaders think.”

According to Joshua Ford, Managing Director of Redesign Health, Nuxera’s approach addresses a gap that “global players have never been able to meet — Arabic-first AI that understands the region’s linguistic and clinical nuances.”

The partnership also marks Nuxera as the first startup to emerge from Sanabil Venture Studio by Redesign Health, reflecting a long-term commitment to developing transformative healthcare solutions from the Kingdom for the world.

With this milestone, Nuxera AI positions itself at the forefront of Saudi Arabia’s growing HealthTech ecosystem — driving a future where AI enhances accuracy, efficiency, and patient-centered care across healthcare institutions.
