Yas Clinic Group has been appointed to manage and operate Sheikh Khalifa Hospital in Fujairah, marking a significant transition in the hospital’s operational leadership.

The facility was previously managed by TMO, a subsidiary of PureHealth, making this shift notable within the UAE’s evolving healthcare management landscape. The appointment reinforces confidence in Yas Clinic Group’s clinical expertise and operational capabilities.

The move represents a strategic step toward strengthening the hospital’s role as a leading provider of tertiary and quaternary healthcare services. It also aligns with national efforts to enhance healthcare delivery through experienced operators and integrated care systems.

Facility Capacity and Infrastructure

Sheikh Khalifa Hospital spans approximately 89,000 square metres and currently accommodates 222 beds, with the capacity to expand to more than 357 beds as demand grows.

This scalability enables the hospital to respond effectively to increasing patient volumes while maintaining high standards of care. The facility delivers advanced tertiary services supported by modern medical technologies, specialised departments, and a patient-centred care model.

Advanced Clinical Services

The hospital features a fully equipped emergency and trauma department designed to manage critical cases efficiently. It is supported by advanced imaging and diagnostic systems, including CT and MRI technologies, ensuring accurate and timely diagnoses.

Additionally, the hospital operates 55 outpatient clinics covering a broad range of medical specialties, improving access to care for diverse patient populations.

Sheikh Khalifa Hospital also houses three specialised centres of excellence in Burn Treatment, Rehabilitation, and Trauma Care. These centres integrate advanced therapeutic technologies with specialised expertise, enabling targeted and effective treatment pathways.

This coordinated approach enhances patient outcomes and supports faster recovery times.
